Mr. Fareedon Hartoqa, the Founder and CEO of MENA Advise, has more than 23 years of experience in investment management, business development, export growth and consultancy services. Prior to his current role, Mr. Hartoqa served as the Secretary General and Acting Chairman at Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) from 2017 to 2021. 

Through his service at JIC, Mr. Hartoqa had prominent positions such as: Deputy Chairman of the Board at Government Investments Management Co., Deputy Chairman of the Board at Jordan Post, Board Member at Amman Vision Investment & Development Co., Board Member at Jordan Enterprise Development Corp., and Greater Amman Municipality Committee Member

Prior to that, Mr. Hartoqa worked with the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service (FCS) at the Department of Commerce, the U.S. government export agency arm, as a Senior Commercial Specialist from 2002-2015. 

In addition, Mr. Hartoqa served as the ICT Exports Development Manager with USAID Jordan Competitiveness Program (JCP) supporting the Information and Telecommunications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j) developing the export strategy for the Jordanian ICT sector from 2015-2016.

Additional work experience, Mr. Hartoqa worked in an insurance company in Saudi Arabia for two years (2000-2002) and in the banking sector in Jordan from 1998-2000.
